No, not a blog post about cutting down on salt (dull!), but about taking what you see and hear with a pinch of salt.
Do you ever catch yourself thinking about other people and how much better their lives are than your own? That because they have a great house/job/partner/lifestyle/wardrobe/car/haircut, life must be spectacular. Maybe it is… but chances are, everyone else is going through life much like you are – sometimes it’s fabulous, other times it feels less so, but mainly it’s OK. People can present to others the best side of life and choose not to reveal the (perhaps) less appealing side. So the next time you witness the best side to someone else’s life, remember that it’s not always the full story, so take it with a pinch of salt. Comparing yourself to others is often the quickest way to unhappiness, so continue to follow your own path and appreciate what you have and who you are. It will do wonders for your well-being. This week's photo is of bluebells in my garden. Can you spot the ladybird?
